The future of public interest law and pro bono engagement lies with today's students. Atlanta Legal Aid wholeheartedly supports experiential learning through externships and internships so that students not only gain valuable hands-on experience, but also see first-hand the critical need for access to legal justice. We accept externs and law student volunteers year-round, and also offer two formal intern programs during the summer and fall. Extern and Volunteer opportunities can be found throughout this website. More information about formal internships may be found on our main website.
