Family Law Information Class
Organization: Gwinnett Pro Bono Project, Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc.
This class is designed to help people representing themselves in family law cases in Georgia. The class explains the basic procedures for filing or responding to a family law action and navigating through the courts.
One volunteer is needed to teach the class using our prepared slides. An additional volunteer is needed to assist with providing brief advice to attendees in breakout rooms following the presentation.
We recommend new teachers observe one class taught by Alli Parham or Dawn Deans (ddeans@atlantalegalaid.org) prior to teaching their first class. We welcome anyone wanting to assist with brief consultations at any time. Please see the link below to sign up.
